There's no reason to tell you guys my name since you just clicked a link that said it, but I will tell you that I generally go by Norb.

I'll start out by saying that I'm eighteen years old, but I'll be nineteen this September 6th. I played sports all throughout grade school, including soccer, football, baseball, basketball, and even crew for a season. I like to try new things, but there's very few that catch enough of my interest for me to stick with them. I'm not sure if that qualifies me as a "quitter," but rather that I enjoy dedicating my time to activities that I really do appreciate.

Those things that I do enjoy attributing time to are, foremost, friends and family, as well as schoolwork, sports, snowboarding, movie-watching, and traveling. If an activity falls into any of those categories, it's safe to say I would like it.

When I'm back at home(which is Kennett Square, PA, by the way), I like to spend a lot of time with my friends. Whether it be playing a round of golf, or sitting around doing nothing, I'd much rather be hanging out with someone than not. And that's because I have a very short attention span; I get bored of things so easily, so I always like to stay busy.

I also like to spend time with my family whenever possible, and that includes my extended family who I'm really close with. My dad's whole side of the family lives in West Palm Beach, FL, while my mom's side is scattered about the country in California, New Jersey, and Colorado. I have one sister who is 23 years old, and she recently moved out to Santa Monica, CA after graduating from PSU in 2010. I also have a dog, Mickey, who is a husky and german shepherd mix. I got him for my tenth birthday and him and I have been boys ever since.

That's probably all you need to know about me for now, but if you want to know more, get to know me. I'm nice, I don't bite.

Quotes: These are a few quotes that define my ideologies about life.

"Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies."-from The Shawshank Redemption--I consider myself an optimist. Rarely do I let something eat into me so much that it affects my happiness. As long as you have hope, you're set.

"Success with honor"-Joe Paterno--I've always been a big JoePa fan, long before I had chosen to attend Penn State. This quote sticks out to me in particular, because it's so common of the current time period. Many celebrities are highly respected when they're doing what they're famous for, but behind the scenes they could be a really messed up person. What good is success if it's not attained honorably?

"And nothing's promised but a graveyard"-Lil Wayne--Most people dismiss rap music as nonsensical lyrics with a rhyme scheme. That can be true in a lot of cases, but every once in a while rappers rhyme a golden nugget that listeners should heed. This is one of my influential lyric's. It's message is simple--nothing is promised, so you have to work for everything you wish to gain. The only thing guaranteed to anyone is dying, so make sure that when you're alive, you're doing the best you can to make your ideal life a reality.

Music: I haven't talked about music much on here, and that's because I'm not picky. You could say I like just about anything. Yes, even country on occasion. I'll post songs of three different genres that I enjoy all the same.
